ECOENZYME-ESTERAMLIP is a multi-enzyme blend for the use in paper mills.
It is a combination of Esterase, Amylase and Lipase, developed for the paper and pulp industry addressing various challenges in the paper and pulp industry, leading to higher quality paper products, reduced chemical usage, and improved operational efficiency. Each enzyme plays a unique role:
Esterase
Controls pitch by breaking down ester bonds, reducing pitch deposition on machinery, and facilitating the deinking process to remove ink from recycled paper.
Amylase
Hydrolyzes residual starch used in paper coatings, preventing stickiness, ensuring a smooth paper surface, and enhancing bleaching efficiency by breaking down starch-based contaminants.
Lipase
Degrades lipids and oils to minimise grease spots on paper products, and works synergistically with esterase to further manage pitch issues, improving paper machine runnability.
